(1) Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT).
There are two application methods: embassy recommendation and university recommendation. For detailed information, please refer to the following page.

(2) Scholarships from Private Organizations and Other Entities

　Scholarships offered by private organizations and local governments may be applied for either through the University of Osaka or directly to the sponsoring organization. Most of these scholarships become available after enrollment.
Eligibility criteria, number of recipients, and other details vary depending on the scholarship.
Announcements will be posted on KOAN and other platforms. Please contact the person in charge of your department to apply.
