Exemptions from Admission and Tuition Fees
“The University of Osaka Tuition Fee Exemption and Related Programs” is an application-based exemption program that The University of Osaka has long offered. It is available each semester to regular undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at the University who meet the eligibility requirements set by the University and have difficulty paying tuition (and/or the admission fee).
Based on the student’s application, applicants are screened within the limits of the available budget, and those approved may receive an exemption from payment of all or part of the tuition (and/or admission fee).
This program also includes applications for payment deferral (and related measures), under which—following screening based on the student’s application—approved applicants may be granted an extension of the payment deadline for tuition (and/or the admission fee).
